This One's Yours — Dicts

A dict is just a key and a value. Until you know what to do with it.

get() when you're not sure. update() when data changes. pop() when something's done. items() when you need everything at once.

key by key. value by value. pair by pair.

Tip calculators that look up percentages. Shopping lists that track quantity and price. Pet shops where every animal has a name, a species, and a status. Nested structures where one key unlocks an entire profile.

That's not syntax. That's thinking in dicts.

This medal exists because finishing something matters. Because progress deserves to be tangible. Because "I completed the Dicts chapter" should feel like more than a checkbox.

Download the file. Print it. Put it next to the others.

You started. You stayed. You finished.

A dict remembers every key you gave it — and returns exactly what you asked for.

So does the work you just did.

Tuples are next. Smaller. Stricter. And this time — nothing changes.
